Will I get a GST tax invoice?
No. Variety Stationers is not registered for GST, because the business operates below the applicable GST registration threshold. GST is not charged separately on your order and we cannot issue a GST tax invoice bearing a registration number. An order invoice comes with the parcel.
Which payment methods work here?
UPI and Cash on Delivery. No cards, net banking or wallets. COD is available for eligible orders and PIN codes and carries no extra fee.
What does delivery cost?
Free from ₹699. Below that, a flat ₹49 for the whole order, shown before checkout is completed.
How long does an order take?
1–2 business days of handling plus courier transit: 3–6 business days in total to metro cities, 5–10 business days elsewhere in India. Estimates, not guaranteed dates.
Do you deliver outside India?
No, within India only.
What does GSM mean on your listings?
Grams per square metre — the weight of the paper. Roughly: 80 GSM is fine for pencil and ballpoint, 100 GSM stops most gel and fountain inks showing through, and 300 GSM cotton stock is what holds a watercolour wash without buckling. Every listing states the GSM where the manufacturer prints it.
Will my fountain pen bleed through?
On 100 GSM stock, usually not; on 80 GSM, often. Ink behaviour also varies between paper batches, so test on the last page of a new book before starting at the front. We can help you compare against the specifications listed, but we cannot guarantee how a specific ink behaves.
My parcel arrived damp or crushed. What now?
Email [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the parcel and contents. An unboxing video is strongly recommended. We arrange a replacement or refund where applicable and cover return shipping when the fault is ours.
Can I return a notebook I have written in?
No. Change-of-mind returns need the item unused and in its original packaging, within 10 days of delivery, with return shipping paid by you.
When is a refund paid?
Within 5 business days of a return reaching us and being checked. A cancellation before dispatch is refunded within 5–7 business days.
Are the planners dated or undated?
Both. Academic planners run July 2026 to June 2027 and are dated. Undated planners have blank date fields so you fill them yourself and can start any month. Each listing says which it is.
Can I collect from your address?
No. We are an online-only retailer and do not operate a customer-facing showroom. The address given here is our business and order fulfilment address. Everything goes by courier.
