What Variety Stationers does with the information you provide when ordering. Written to reflect Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Information Technology Act 2000.
What we collect
- Name, delivery address, PIN code, phone number, email address — required to deliver an order and contact you about it.
- Order contents and order history.
- Payment confirmation only. For UPI we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded; we never receive or store your UPI PIN, card numbers or banking credentials.
- Standard technical information sent by your browser.
Cookies
Essential cookies only, for the cart and checkout to function. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers needed to operate the store, deliver orders, process payments and provide hosting, or where the law requires it. Courier partners receive your name, address and phone number because a parcel cannot be delivered without them. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as reasonably necessary for returns, refunds and enquiries, and for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion of anything we are not obliged to keep. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Write from the email address used on the order to [email protected].
Grievance contact for privacy complaints
Privacy complaints go to [email protected], or by post to Variety Stationers, Shivaji Path, Station Road, Thane West, Thane, Maharashtra 400602, India. They are handled directly by the person responsible for operating Variety Stationers. We have not appointed a separate named officer.

The site runs over HTTPS. No system is completely secure, so please never email payment credentials — we will never ask for them.
